I was looking for a replacement projector for my piece of junk BenQ (see my review on the BenQ PB8220), and this was the best projector I could find that was within my budget ($1,400). The only drawback that made me hesitate about buying this projector was the resolution. The BenQ had better resolution and looked fantastic… when it worked. After it broke 5 times, I gave up on BenQ. Optoma had really good customer reviews on the internet, and all the specs on this projector (except for the resolution) were great.

Sanyo PLV-Z4 Multimedia Projector
My ex-boyfriend gave me this Sanyo Projector as a birthday gift, and I dont think I will ever be able to go back to the old 36 inch TV after the experience. I think he got it from B&H Photo or something like that because you also get a $300 Bulb Coupon with the purchase.
What I like most about this projector
Affordable. I am not sure if Sanyo PLV-Z4 has the lowest price in its class or not, but I dont several hundred dollars matter to anyone who looks to set up her/his home theater.

I went thorough a few projectors before I selected this one. Initially I thought all projectors are the same, but this assumption was so untrue. If you are looking at home theatre projection, you need to look for a home theatre projector and do not bother with the data projectors, as the technology does not support the requirement.

When it comes to full-featured, extremely well working projectors, the InFocus LP350 Multimedia Projector is right at the top of the game. It is a little older than a lot of the recent releases, but it is still one of the better ones to be released in the 21st century that works in both a classroom and home setting. It is able to pull this double duty because it works so well, and having that coupled with the lower-end price, it is a product that is well worth the money spent on it. You can get one of these for far less than the $4500.00 it cost when it first hit the market, but still costing more than $1000.00 is still an expensive purchase for nearly anyone. A product like this is normally put to its best use in a classroom or presentation setting, but it is just as good when you are watching something from the comfort of your own home.

I purchased one of these for my work, because I heard from my friends that NEC makes the best projectors. Based on the amazing size and performance of the LT20, I have to agree.
NEC nano?
Yes, you read the specs correctly. This projector is just 8″x6″x2.5″and weighs only 2.2 lbs! Definitely turns a lot of heads. It comes with a form-fitting black nylon zipper case with one compartment for the projector, and another for cables and accessories. It is compact and well padded, with a velcro strap to hold it in place. The second compartment zips off for even more compactness. I’ve had many people mistake the case for my lunchbox. It’s very comfortably carried in one hand, along with anything else you might have to carry.
